How will I be supported with work placement?

Our Industry Pathways Team supports you through the entire placement process, from preparing for placement, gathering documentation, and securing approval, to checking in while you’re on site.

We partner with trusted employers, SkilTrak, and reputable third-party organisations to help you find a safe, meaningful, and course-aligned placement.

We encourage students to take the initiative to find their own placement, as it helps you develop job-seeking skills and connect with local industry professionals. However, if you’re unable to secure your own placement, we’ll work with you to find one that meets your course requirements, usually within 20km of your home*.
