# Can I get an extension or defer my studies?
Yes. If you’re unable to continue at your current pace due to illness, family commitments, work changes, or other genuine reasons, you may be eligible for an extension or deferral under our [Extensions and Deferral Policy](https://kiranacolleges.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Extension-and-Deferral-Policy.pdf). Your Success Coach will support you through the application process and discuss the requirements.
